Will Dobbie is a Professor of Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. His research focuses on the causes and consequences of poverty in the U.S. His recent work has studied racial bias in the criminal justice system, the labor market consequences of bad credit reports, and the long-run effects of charter schools.

Will received a BA in economics from Kalamazoo College, an MA in economics from the University of Washington, and a PhD in public policy from Harvard University.
