Manuel Bagues is a Professor of Economics at the University of Warwick. He studies labor economics with focuses on personnel economics, gender economics, and economics of education. He is also interested in the determinants of voting behavior. His work has examined a broad range of questions i ncluding the effect of gender quotas on the quantity and quality of female legislators in Spain, evaluation biases in selection committees, and the efficiency of higher education systems.
Manuel received his PhD from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
